Local progress belongs to this browser
Without a cloud account, progress may remain on this device and browser. Clearing site data, changing browser or losing the device can remove it.
INTERNET NEEDED
Cloud access and media need a connection
Account creation, login, recovery, cross-device progress and streamed Watch content require internet access.
OFFLINE LIMIT
Not every page is cached
Do not rely on the website for urgent help or assume a page will remain available after the connection disappears.
UPDATES
Reconnect for the latest version
Returning online allows corrections, safeguarding wording and journey improvements to load. Refresh if something looks out of date.
SHARED DEVICES
Installation does not make a device private
On a shared device, leave private-device sign-in unticked and sign out. An icon on the home screen does not protect the account by itself.
CURRENT OFFLINE STATUS
Limited guidance—not a full offline promise.
A dedicated offline fallback and dependable journey caching require additional service-worker work. This page states the current boundary rather than claiming that work is already complete.
